Excited About Season 3!

Cooking with a pressure cookerWhat a great week! Last weekend I was able to go to Taylor, AZ to speak at a singles conference. They were a really wonderful group of people. It was so much fun and I had a great time teaching about taking care of our bodies, eating the right foods, and really understanding the role food can play in our lives. I love public teaching. It is a great experience.

The most excitement this week came from me being able to preview the new, upcoming Fusion Grain Show. Oh my, I am so excited! The first two seasons we filmed in Scottsdale, AZ at the national training center for Thermador appliances. It was great, but Thermador moved to California. Before they did, they built a set for me in the BYU TV studios. Amazing! What a great set. I love filming in it. It is so crisp and bright. I am excited for you all to see the new season. It airs in October. We are finished filming and the shows are in the editing phase right now. It is always fun to see the end result. It takes about five hours to film one show so, for me to see the end result is exciting. It is amazing to see how my producer pulls it together to create a smooth, flowing show, especially when I think of all the time and effort it takes to film one show. It is hard work but so worth the effort.

August is coming fast. I am doing a lot of classes in Utah. It’s one of my favorite things about the month. This is my 11th year of teaching at BYU Education week. I love it. All new classes this year and new Key Note presentations. Along with that, I will be teaching a series of classes in the area. Check out my calendar for more details.
